Umbelliferae. HARE'S EAR.

Europe, Orient, Northern Asia and Himalayan region. The leaves are used for food in China and Japan.

Bupleurum octoradiatum Bunge.

Northern China. In China, the tender shoots of this apparently foreign plant are edible.

Bupleurum rotundifolium Linn.
