== Observations ==
*Tree, 12-18 m tall. *Leaves broadly elliptic, 22-40 cm × 10-20 cm. *Flowers unisexual, yellowish but petals reddish at base. *Fruit a globose berry, 5-8 cm diameter, like a green apple, turning brown-yellow. Common in lowland forest.
