Distribution

Indonesia (western Sumbawa and western Flores).

Uses

The fruits contain a subacid edible aril.

Observations

This species is close to R. humile but has ovate-oblong or elliptical leaflets and globose velvety fruits, up to 3 cm in diameter, with dirty-white aril. It is a submontane tree, fruiting between June and November.
