Plant names in Lithuanian

Lithuanian is a Baltic language, which belongs to the Indo-European family. Substantives may be masculine or feminine, singular or plural, and follow a declension with seven cases. For further explanations, see Wikipedia.

As for plant names, the singular nominative form should be given. An example is the name for rice; ryžis (singular), ryžiai (plural).
