Introduction

Albanian is an Indo-European language, but it is the only living language in its group.

Influence of the article

Albanese substantives follow a declension with two to three cases. We will present here only the nominative form of some names, at the singular and plural numbers. Forms vary greatly according to the termination of names, and there are many exceptions to rules. So the best here is only to give some examples.

The list below has basically been reproduced from Boissin, retaining only plant names. No word has been reconstructed.
