Distribution

Thailand, Indo-China, wild and cultivated.

Uses

In Indo-China the fragrant fruits are appreciated and sold on markets. The roots, leaves and fruits are also used medicinally.

Observations

Tree, cultivated for its fruits around villages in Indo-China. Fruit a bright yellow berry, the size of an orange, globose, slightly flattened on young trees, with a very strong aromatic smell when mature.
