Uses

The cane is used for basketmaking and for tying.

Observations

Mediumsized rattan. Stem without leafsheaths to 12 mm in diameter, with sheaths to 25 mm in diameter. Leaves cirrate; leaflets equidistant, papyraceous. Fruit small, spherical and with short, conical beak. Endemic to the Philippines, in forest at low altitude.
