The cane is used for making furniture.
Observations
Highclimbing moderatesized rattan. Stem without leafsheaths to 15 mm in diameter, with sheaths to 25 mm in diameter. Leaves cirrate; leafsheaths scarcely armed; leaflets greenish or purplishgreen. Fruit spherical. Endemic to the Philippines. Found in primary forest at low and medium altitudes.
