Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Thailand.
Uses
The cane is split and used for tying and binding.
Observations
A slender, clustering rattan climbing to 15 m tall. Most parts turn dark on drying. Leaf ecirrate; petiole length, width and number of leaflets very variable. It is found in a wide range of habitats from the lowlands to lower montane forests at altitudes of 1400 m.
