Uses
The cane is used for broom handles. In Bali, a traditional coconut grater is made from the petioles.
Observations
Clustering, robust rattan to 25 m tall. Stem to 40 mm in diameter without leafsheaths. Leaves cirrate, to 6 m long including the 2 m long cirrus; leaflets pendulous. Found on slopes in the lowlands and up to 600 m altitude.
