Uses
Entire canes are used in handicrafts, furniture, baskets, etc., and sold locally or exported abroad.
Observations
A moderate to robust rattan. Stem without leafsheaths 30 mm in diameter, with sheaths to 40 mm in diameter. Leaves cirrate; leaflets ellipticallanceolate, closely set. Fruit with prominent beak. Endemic to the Philippines and found in primary forest at low altitude.
