Uses
The wood is reputed to be used as terap or keledang.
Observations
- A medium-sized tree up to 25 m tall.
- Leaves broadly elliptical to obovate-oblong, base cordate, glabrous except for the pubescent main veins above, venation pubescent below, with 10-14 pairs of secondary veins, stipules not amplexicaul.
- Male head obovoid to subglobose, 20-35 mm across, on a (7-)15-22 mm long peduncle; styles in female head simple.
- Syncarp globose, up to 6 cm across, papillate or nearly smooth, pubescent.
A. subrotundifolius is found in forest up to 300 m altitude.
