Uses
The leaves have reportedly been used internally to treat fever.
Observations
An erect herb, creeping at the base, up to 50 cm tall, often branched; leaves of each pair equal or unequal, ovate-elliptical-oblong, 1.5-8 cm × 1-4 cm, very pale beneath; corolla 8-15 mm long, anther tube narrow, with ridge-like connective. A. montanum occurs in shady localities in the forest, usually in humus-rich soils, at 400-2250 m altitude. It is locally common in western Java.
