Anamirta paniculata

Anamirta paniculata Colebr. Menispermaceae. East Indies. A strong, climbing shrub found in the eastern part of the Indian Peninsula and Malay Islands. From this plant is produced a deleterious drug illegally used in England to impart bitterness to beer. [1]
