Distribution
From Sri Lanka, India and Burma east to southern China and south to the Philippines and New Guinea.
Uses
Young leaves are eaten raw or cooked.
Observations
- Climbing or scrambling shrub, 3-15 m long.
- Leaves imparipinnately compound with 5-7 leaflets; leaflets elliptical or oblong-elliptical, 3-20 cm × 1.4-13 cm, coriaceous.
In mangrove swamps, banks of littoral creeks, estuaries and associated forests up to 30 m altitude.
