Distribution
Peninsular Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Bangka and Borneo.
Uses
In Peninsular Malaysia, a decoction of leaves and roots is used to treat stomach-ache.
Observations
A slender liana; leaves elliptical-lanceolate, 6-8.5 cm × 1.5-2.5 cm, acuminate at apex, thin-leathery; corolla white; fruit c. 0.5 cm in diameter, bluish when ripe. G. sublanceolata often occurs in open locations in the forest, also as a climber in scrubby vegetation and hedges, often near the sea.
