Observations

  • Tree, 25 m tall, trunk 90 cm diameter.
  • Leaves ovate, 10-20 cm long.
  • Flowers unisexual, white.
  • Fruit a globose berry, 6-9 cm in diameter, pale green, skin firm, arillodes yellow.
  • Seeds several.

In primary forests at low and medium altitudes.
