Uses

Fruit edible, acid. Fruits and young leaves also used as vegetable or condiment. Wood is hard and used for small utensils.

Observations

  • Small tree with prop roots.
  • Fruit a green berry, skin thin, seeds 12 with juicy arillodes.

Fruits ripen very slowly.
