Endemic in the Philippines.
Uses
The acid fruits are eaten raw after removing the peel.
Observations
- Small tree with narrowly oblong, opposite leaves.
- Inflorescences axillary cymes, 2 cm long, with creamy white flowers.
- Fruit a globose berry, 1-seeded.
In primary forests at low altitudes.
