Distribution

Peninsular Malaysia and southern Thailand.

Uses

The cane is sometimes used for making walkingsticks.

Observations

A solitary, shortstemmed rattan which commonly grows on slopes in hill dipterocarp forest. Leaves ecirrate with broad plicate leaflets. Fruit small, rounded, redbrown.
