Distribution

The Philippines (Palawan, Bataan, Culion Philippines) and Sabah.

Uses

Unsplit slender canes are made into baskets.

Observations

Slender rattan. Stem without leafsheaths to 8 mm in diameter, with sheaths to 15 mm in diameter. Leaves cirrate; leafsheaths unarmed; leaflets grouped in twos to fours, narrowly lanceolate. Fruit very small, spherical with short beak. In primary forest at low altitude.
