Distribution
Cambodia, Vietnam (but not well known).
Uses
The fruit is large and edible.
Observations
Tree, 30 m tall. Leaves oblong-lanceolate, 12-16 cm × 3-5 cm. Stamens 5, 2 fertile. Fruit an ellipsoid drupe, 7-8 cm long, apex situated lateral. In forests, flowering in February-March, fruiting in March-April. The species is rare and near to extinction.
