Distribution
Indo-China and Thailand, but very rare.
Uses
The fruits are small and inferior, but contain a white edible flesh with a turpentine taste. The wood is whitish, used as timber.
Observations
Tree, 30-40 m tall. Leaves oblong to obovate, 13-30 cm long. Stamens 10-12, 5-6 of which are fertile. Fruit an oblongoid drupe, small. On rocks in lowland forests, flowering December-March, fruiting April-May.
