Distribution

From the western Himalayas, India and Sri Lanka to Burma (Myanmar), Indo-China, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Borneo (Sabah), Sulawesi, the Lesser Sunda Islands and the Moluccas; possibly also in New Guinea.
