Distribution
Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore.
Uses
Fruits are acid but edible, usually cooked.
Observations
- Tree, 12-18 m tall.
- Leaves broadly elliptic, 22-40 cm × 10-20 cm.
- Flowers unisexual, yellowish but petals reddish at base.
- Fruit a globose berry, 5-8 cm diameter, like a green apple, turning brown-yellow.
Common in lowland forest.
